AI Processing

When you use the car identification feature:

Images are sent to Google Gemini AI for car recognition processing
Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on AI servers
Results (car make, model, specs) are returned to the app and saved to your profile

Data Storage

Cloud Storage: Account data, car spots, comments, and likes are stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers
Photo Storage: Car spot photos are stored on Firebase Storage
Data is associated with your account and accessible when you log in from any device
Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from the app settings

Social Features

Drive Feed includes social features where:

Your car spots (photo, car details, location, caption) are visible to all users on the feed
Your username and points are visible on the leaderboard
Other users can like and comment on your spots
You can like and comment on other users' spots

Location Data

We collect location data only when you use the scan feature:

Location is captured at the time of scanning to tag where the car was spotted
Location is displayed publicly on your car spot posts
You can deny location permissions, but you will not be able to use the scan feature
We do not track your location in the background

Authentication is handled securely through Firebase Authentication
Data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS)
